On The Question of State Secrets and A Right To Know

On the question of State Secrets: It is first and foremost that of who does "what" to know "what."

Then the question becomes why is "what" being done.

A nation, the general public doesn't have a right to the disclosure of tactics it's intelligence and organized violence institutions use in pursuit of national strategies.  The only national right is an understanding of the suppositions in support of the strategies.

This is one aspect on the question of State Secrets and a right to know, naturally there are others.

Star Jones, Kimberly Keller, Two Examples, Miley Cyrus and Trayvon Martin

Hypocrisy and stupidity always exist as examples and recently we have been assaulted and insulted by two.

Considering that hypocrisy and stupidity are examples of reaction, the recent Miley Cyrus MTV Awards twerking incident engaged it.
  • Star Jones A flotsam of The View, told CNN's Piers Morgan that besides in her disassembled view, twerking being "impolite" it should be done by African Women in the Bushes of Africa-Now not only is this an unforgiven example of cultural delusion on African Femininity, but it reminds us of the schizophrenic context the self-loathing Black Women of the American Diaspora of African ancestry (of which Star Jones regretfully is) has towards Africa.
  • Kimberly Keller A suburban White Woman dealing with the alienation of her existence reminded us that examples of stupidity are also a painful idealistic corollary of hypocrisy.  Because in the enfeebled world view of Kimberly Keller, Miley Cyrus twerking is more destructive developmentally on her one-dimensional kids than the example of George Zimmerman hunting and killing the teenage Treyvon Martin and the acquittal under the bigoted logic that it was an "unfortunate" incident.

Police Departments, Fire Departments and The Right To Privacy Argument As Defense Against Their Law Violating Activites

Not a single Police Department, Fire Department in the nation supports the fact: Because firearms kill so carrying them, using firearms in the course of their work violates one's right to life, liberty e.t.c.

Yet Police Departments, Fire Departments presents as argument against using video recording devices during the course of their work, their interactions and contact with the general public that such devices violate the public and individuals right to privacy.

The reality however is Police Departments, Fire Departments hate and are morbidly against any mechanism and means that holds their behavior accountable and exposes their law violating activities and video recording devices do that.  Lest we forget Rodney King and the LAPD.

Scandal, Corporate Media, The Moribund Political-Economy and The Virtual Sexual Deviant Behavior Of Anthony Weiner

, member of the United States House of Represe...
, member of the United States House of Representatives. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
How do we define scandal?  Is it's exposure therapeutic pretext?  For too long certain minds and hearts particularly those in corporate media have explained, justified and attempted to defend their pursuits of scandal with: "It's what the public wants".  Quietly omitting that the public is a beast fed on the repetition of what corporate media serves.

On 7/24/13; President Barack Obama gave a major speech on the moribund Political-Economy outlining it's national and international definitions.  The speech and it's focus was contextually and provisionally significant because it filled the moribund Political-Economy space.  Considering that the economy and it's politics is the fundamental lattice on which America is realized therefore it's status is paramount.

On 7/24/13; CNN and it's corporate media ilks after transient commentary on the Obama speech went right back to the business as usual of defining scandal as the virtual sexual deviant behavior of the 2013 New York City Mayoral Candidate Anthony Weiner.

This begs this question: Has Anthony Weiner's virtual sexual deviant behavior with the ingenue Sydney Leathers resulted in the nations unemployment crisis?  Does it respond to the bankruptcy of Detroit, does it account for the illiteracy and backwardness of the nations elected officials?  So are the corporate masters of CNN and it's ilk, telling us that in a nation where under every rock slithers a "christian", a set of beliefs that ask he who hath no sin cast the first stone, that the hypocricy of Klieg Light lit faces, mantra like casting stones at and chanting the sins of Anthony Weiner trumps the scandal of the nations moribund Political-Economy?

Republican-Conservatism, it's Intellectual-Liberalism, Austerity, Deprivation and Welfare Programs

Republican-Conservatism and it's Intellectual-Liberalism presents as it's motive that, economic energy is wholly compelled by austerity, austere conditions and catalysed by deprivation.  So poverty and socio-marginalization isn't seen by Republican-Conservatism and it's Intellectual-Liberalism as a negative and destructive.  Instead it's perceived in it's most germane expression as "good" because poverty and deprivation impels the Human Condition to realize "better".

Idealistically the described world view of Republican-Conservatism seems to present a fact of the Human Condition and we see it played out in the anti-government activity polemicized by the Republican Party against Welfare programs.

It's not my intention to philosophize.  A catalog and bibliography refuting this Republican-Conservatism world view has occupied 90% of the Human Conditions mental labor.

We at Apropos state: The Human Condition is s soupy approximation historically spiced with austerity and deprivation.  A fact stated by milleania of it's historicity but without the commensurate "better" the idealism of Republican-Conservatism and it's Intellectual-Liberalism would have us accept as dialectical synthesis.

The LL Cool J's Of The World, George Orwell's Animal Farm, Snivelling Metamorphosis and The Narrative Of Speculative-Value Production

What the LL Cool J's of the world present is this: They begin by being in opposition to the operative narrative of their existence.

Then as in George Orwell's Animal Farm we observe them as pigs walking on their hind legs aping all that is idealistic and antagonistic of the narrative that defined their assembly.  A snivelling metamorphosis.

So as the inevitable disassembly begins we are humored by the zeal with which these Orwellian LL Cool J's discover artful ways to rationalize and defend the flotsam narrative that circumscribed their pre Orwellian metamorphosis existence.

Still we pay attention to the markers of the LL Cool J's of the world who as the narrative of Speculative-Value production reveals, lost the totemic battle, metamorphosizing the antagonisms that circumscribed their beginnings.

George Orwell's Animal Farm is your ode' 'nuff said.

Intelligence Gathering Activities, Surveillance Machinations By The United States, Eric Snowden, The Treason Critique and Political Economy

The idea that the recent revelation of intelligence gathering activities and surveillance machinations by the United States and it's global rule presumption by Eric Snowden a former NSA (National Security Agency) contractor is an act of treason only reveals the idealistic imperative of contemporary American governance and it's Political-Economy.

If the United States per virtue of it's of it's Political-Economy world view lays claim to the practice that no corner of the globe is off limits and sovereign, then there is nothing treasonous if Eric Snowden reveals to the world, intelligence gathering activities and surveillance machinations by the United States.

As the United States Navy recruits with the slogan "A global force for good" and whether the slogan is semantically speculative and the organized violence dicta of the United States is global rule presumptive.  Then unless the claim is that Eric Snowden revealed intelligence gathering activities and surveillance machinations to extraterrestrial invaders then the treason critique is comical and idealistic in it's straw grasping.

Gretchen Wilson, Redneck Woman Defensive

Gretchen Wilson
Cover of Gretchen Wilson
CBS's The Talk Sheryl Underwood recently asked Country Singer Gretchen Wilson, if she had the Redneck spirit, because Gretchen Wilson once had a hit "Redneck Woman".

Gretchen Wilson reflexively got defensive, her face closed and she rhetorically pleaded and (I paraphrase) I Don't know what you mean by Redneck...

I found this humorous and abjectedly pitiful, a psychological abscessed scab painfully exposed in full view as if Gretchen Wilson epitomized an anxiety suppressed so firmly that her recourse was to disavow a cultural state was affirmatively iconic in her life...Redneck Woman.

The obscenity of the spectacle was Gretchen Wilson perceived her relationship to Redneck via the narrative of it's critics.

So what then does this mean: That despite the up yours to the Redneck critique, Gretchen Wilson is secretly susceptible?

The National Debt, Deficits, Republican Party and Speculative Power

If consequences of the National Debt, deficits are cataclysmically dire and it's critique isn't idealistic and polemical gambit wielded by the Republican Party in pursuit of speculative power.

Then the solution is practically easy and Conservatively status-quo.  The 2% (two percent) of the population who are it's beneficiaries and hold in accumulation it's realized value, shouldn't have any problem and reservation in settling it because they stand to lose their accumulation and gains, if the debt, deficits narrative is objective fact as the critique purports and not a Republican Party gambit in pursuit of speculative power.

Ideas, Inventions For The Underdeveloped and Third World That Distract From Practical Development

The problem with ideas and inventions intended for the underdeveloped and Third World and it's Political-Economy is such ideas and inventions objectively underline and entrench, enabling the continuity of the structural basis of the underdeveloped in the first place.

The underdeveloped and Third World and it's Political-Economy doesn't exist in a parallel universe whose conditions and environment is antithetical to the industrialized and developed world, as a matter of fact the industrialization of the developed world is a fact of the unity of conditions, environment and the relationships existing betwixt developed and underdeveloped worlds---so the pursuit of what is development in the underdeveloped  and Third World is analogous to what is development in the developed world minus the idealistic ideas and inventions targeting the underdeveloped and Third World that distract from practical development.

Schizophrenia and Hypocricy Of The Non-Regulated Global Economy

Recently corporate media has inundated our challenged attention span with news of a 1,000 dead persons, workers at a Bangladesh Garment Factory, victims of the schizophrenic and hypocritical non-regulated global economy narrative.

The corporate media storylines of the 4/24/13; Bangladesh Garment Factory catastrophe has been a stylized focus on the human tragedy, an underlining of the humaness of the dead workers.

In this contemporary social zeitgeist, more is owed the dead workers by those who death trumpet their humaness, but in life exploited and insulted their humaness by keeping silent on the conditions and practices that cumulated in and catalyzed their death.

The resulting editorializing and commentaries on the non-regulated and criminally deplorable Bangladesh Garment Factory work conditions by corporate media post mortem 4/24/13; should have been done pre 4/24/13; with equal zeal.  But considering that the consumers of corporate media benefit from the schizophrenia and hypocricy of the non-regulated global economy which Bangladesh and it's cheap and poorly paid garment factory workers play their umpa lumpa  roles, it wasn't 2.0 worthy of hors d'oeuvre chatter to recognize the humaness of Bangladesh moreorless critique their work conditions.

A Nations Decline, Idealistic-Violence, Wendy Walsh School Prayer and Religion

A nations decline isn't borne on the wings of decadence and a generalized corruption as historians have classically pronounced.  Unless the corruption is that of a lazy mind.  But a nations decline reflects to what extent, idealism and it's delusions are disseminated as practical responses to problems.

Lately the nation has been grappling with the question of idealistic-violence.  Idealistic in the sense that the violence doesn't further the objective-narrative of progress of the Human Condition.

So into this dialectical struggle steps Wendy Walsh, a self described behavior expert.  Which as professional designation highlights the very nature of a nations decline; with purported analytical response.  Wendy Walsh declared with full entire weight of human history and it's accumulated cognition on her delusional shoulders.  That lack of school prayer, absence of religion are to blame for violence and depravity.

Contrary to the delusions of Wendy Walsh and her idealistic ravings, the violent speech of Religion bears as much responsibility for idealistic-violence as the psychosis of idealism.

Surveillance Totalitarianism, Circa Post 9-11 and State Security

Leading up to the revision of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact, the United States and it's NATO Alliance used to level a polemic of Surveillance Totalitarianism against it as indictment of Socialism and it's Communist anticipations requiring Surveillance Totalitarianism.

The Soviets and their Warsaw Pact allies responded with: National meddling, interference and sabotage from the United States and it's NATO Alliance warranted such Surveillance Totalitarianism from the state security apparatus.  The United States and it's NATO naturally scoffed.

Fast Forward to circa post 9-11 and what we now have is the United States and the NATO Alliance applying Surveillance Totalitarianism in a manner the Soviets and Warsaw Pact couldn't have imagined nor dreamed of which confirms the maxim: The naivete of Communist idealism is no match for the repression of Capitalist Facism.

If the state security rationale wasn't good for the Soviets and it's Warsaw Pact goose, then it most definitely isn't for the United States and it's NATO allies gander circa post 9-11 practicing Surveillance Totalitarianism.

Republicans, The Campaign Disclosure Act, The U.S. Constitution and Progress

Republicans in the U.S. Senate in July 2012 voted down the Campaign Disclosure Act which would have required full disclosure of donor activity to campaigns, under the premise it restricted free speech.

The metrics wielding in contemporary right wing Republican Conservatism politics turns on the head the motivational impetus of the nations Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and replaces it's progress with reaction.  A reaction which true to the Intellectual-Liberalism of it's Conservatism is status quo and elitist in nature.

The objectivity of progress is contextually to know, to understand more, a full disclosure and exposure of the inner workings of phenomena whether it's the natural world or the machinations of donor activity in modern American Political campaigns.  Only those reactionaries and the Intellectual-Liberalism of their Republican-Conservatism foist the idea that status-quo secrecy is progress and Democratic which is what the defeat by Republicans in the U.S. Senate of the campaign disclosure act in July 2012 ridiculousy claims.

Craig Watkins District Attorney of Dallas County, Texas, The Black Community and The Application of State Organized Violence and It's Justice Ideal

Why isn't Craig Watkins, District Attorney of Dallas County, Texas recognized in a serious way by the Black  community and it's intelligentsia.

During Craig Watkins tenure as District Attorney he has exonerated approximately twenty-one wrongfully convicted persons, one at least thirty years of unlawful imprisonment.  This is extraordinary, an American Prosecutor actually concerned with getting the application of state organized violence and it's justice ideal right.

The undeniable nexus of American society with the Black American Experience is that of state organized violence and it's justice ideal.  Despite the pervasiveness of criminality within American society the sanctioning and imprisonment of back offenders has always exceeded it's per capita ratio.

One would assume that the Black community and it's intelligentsia would exploit the utilitarianism of Craig Watkins as a shaming and critical polemic against other District Attorneys who execute the duties of their office as a mandate to only prosecute and sanction Black people--- idealistically Craig Watkins has been ignored and toils unnoticed.

Anti-Social Security Trust Fund and The Idealistic Conservative Impetus and it's Intellectual-Liberalism Of Control

The Anti-Social Security argument perpetually made by Conservatism and it's Intellectual-Liberalism that  for every dollar paid by wage earners into the Social Security Fund, three or more dollars are extracted or paid out unearned.  Has nothing to do with "what is money" and Political-Economy fact but everything to do with the idealistic Conservative impetus and it's Intellectual-Liberalism of controlling the Political-Economy illiterate majority.

If each dollar paid into the government trust fund of Social Security isn't value appreciating parallel with the nations GDP (Gross Domestic Products).  Why then is the same dollar, privately speculated by it's critics, the idealistic Conservative impetus and it's Intellectual-Liberalism, appreciating in it's stock market activity?

"What Do Women Want," Dialectical-Materialism, The Daughter-Relationship and Value Speculation

Idealism poses the question: "What Do Women Want" and responds with it's typical one dimensional impetuous hubris, "Let the Woman decide".

Materialism on the other hand, specifically dialectical-materialism ignores the question and instead observes the subjectivity of it's organic fact, that the response is at the expense of the fact, the quality of the daughter-relationship determines what daughter as Woman will want.

The daughter-relationship more than any other social relationship has within it's circumscription the tensions of immature contradictions and the mature antagonisms of human Political--Economy as organic base. Irrespective of class and nationality.

Recently, the daughter-relationship dialectic has again been examined in a new book "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook and as expected of a nation flailing under the fog of idealism and the Intellectual-Liberalism of it's conservative ideation, it was welcomed apoplectically.

Dialectical-Materialism reminds us that the vacuous nature of idealism and the Intellectual-Liberalism of it's Conservative ideation would have us observe social relationships and human Political-Economy as existing in a vacuum or biologic inconsistencies and suppositions of cultural biases.  We at Apropos in defense of dialectical-materialism reject that.

We at Apropos state it bluntly: The Daughter-Relationship dialectic and it's "What do Women Want" question is fundamentally that of value and it's speculation.

Barack Obama, Nat Turner, Steve Harvey, "Hoodlum" And The American Experience

From Barack Obama, President of the United States, honoring Nat Turner in his 2/22/12; speech at the African-American Museum to Steve Harvey's the talk show host recognition of his father.  Who Steve Harvey unflappably describes as a "Hoodlum" as being the motive force in his life who inculcated and instilled work ethic in him, to quote "Being a Man," there is a dynamic unfettered in contemporary society that at it's heart has the thrust of the Black Experience on it's own terms, without that axiomatic, apologetic taint of eurocentric understudy.

The usual narrative of the Black Experience meaning it's distortions by eurocentrisim is a pacified, defanged and caricaturized one.  Where a Nat Turner or a "Hoodlum" are valueless and not invaluable as the recognition by Barack Obama, President of the United States and Steve Harvey a successful talk show host imply.

That the Nat Turner, the "Hoodlum," facts of the Black Experience are invaluably on equal terms with all other facts of the American Experience.

If Thomas Jefferson, an owner of Slaves, trader of Slaves is redeemed.  Then we must grasp the one-dimensional nature of all critique hurled at the Black Experience at the idealistic expense of it's organic base the American Experience.

Aunt Jemima's Like Wendy Williams, The Talk Show Host and Her "Well Spoken" Black Critique

Aunt Jemima's like Wendy Williams The Talk Show Host, in their mediocre inability to provide substantial contextual narrative to popular culture are the ones who keep the idealistic futility of stereotyping alive and well.

Wendy Williams will always to a fault critique Black pop culture personalities with the "well spoken" qualifier which she never does with White pop cultural personalities.  The implication being, speaking is something Black people have to do well.

So what is this "well spoken" critique Wendy Williams as Aunt Jemima apologist presents?

The "well spoken" critique is one rank with the stench of self hatred and inferiority loathing.  It simply says Wendy Williams perceives her Blackness and heritage through the "I Am Thy Darker Brother,"  "Gone With The Wind" prism.  Which supposes idealistically that Black people are inarticulate and speak in a peculiarly distinct manner that isn't "White Like" and somehow disqualifys and devalues their cultural vantage narrative.

What the Aunt Jemima mediocrity of the likes of Wendy Williams are incapable of grasping is Value
in it's pop cultural context as in all other social aspects is dialectical. The mere existence of Wendy Williams as Talk Show Host speaks to the dialectic and her "Well Spoken" Black critique only emphasizes the latent inferiority complex of Wendy Williams and her Aunt Jemima inclinations as default.

Wayne LaPierre, Government, Disinformation and What Is Lawful

Wayne LaPierre, executive Vice-President of the NRA is wont to say and we paraphrase:  Government shouldn't dictate what gun owners lawfully use to protect and defend their families.

This exampled Wayne LaPierre paraphrase is typical and endemic of what passes for contemporary public debate, it's discussion and polemic.

The only thing gleaned from Wayne LaPierre's Pro Gun anti-government statement is: It's crass disinformation, intended for the inattentive and gullible ears of the naive and idealistic.

In response to Wayne LaPierre we state: Government doesn't have to dictate what is lawful because it is the arbiter and determinant of what is lawful and unlawful.

Disservice Done By Corporate Media To The Nations Political-Economy and Intentionally Misleading Commentary On Presidential Legacy

A disservice done by corporate media to the nations Political-Economy is with the way it flames national issues and points of discussion.

How often are we told by corporate media journalist as Soledad O'Brien, John King, Gloria Borger et al that there is tension between a Presidents agenda, what a President wants, Presidential legacy and what the party wants or what Congress wants.  This descriptive characterized tension of a Presidents agenda, legacy and what the party Congress wants is a disservice done by corporate media because it is wrong and intentionally misleading.

A Presidents agenda, legacy, a party's platform, what it wants, what Congress wants are reflective of what people, the citizenry want and that is how corporate media journalist as Soledad O'Brien, John King, Gloria Borger et al should describe such Political-Economy activity.  On the contrary what we are told which borders on indoctrination is this false tension between a Presidents agenda, Presidential legacy and what Congress wants.

An aspect of corporate media's historical duty is to illustrate the unity between what citizens vote for and what is accomplished by the political functionaries.  Instead, what Soledad O'Brien, John King, Gloria Borger et al assault our senses with are intentionally misleading commentary that are a disservice to the nations Political-Economy.
