10 SQUARE BLOCKS AND THE GRANDMOTHERS By William Thorpe

What I'm about to outline is a sketch, a concept for others to get all into it and build up on it. The idea is simple, its a means, a mechanism to fund, provide Capital for enterprising minds and hearts in a typical Black majority environment, who despite having a relatively promising entrepreneurial thought have (take your pick) of why funding is difficult and stressful to come by. Secondly there is ownership in this idea, no one understands and is more honest about assessment than People we live and exist with. If familiarity breeds contempt, then it also, albeit begrudgingly develops recognition of ability and respect of ones base Personality, which are requisite for investment in that future outcome. Okay enough of stipulations and let me get to the basic idea of 10 SQUARE BLOCKS AND THE GRANDMOTHERS. The number 10 is base, the decad, that foundation of affirmative support, qualifying a completion while also pulsing with anticipation, expectation and potential. The Grandmother in any Black Community be it diasporic or on the Continent of Africa, is also base, foundation, affirmative support and a completion and Black existence is without value without the stability of the Grandmother. Of course our other Fraternal heritages across our shared human condition have like understanding of the Grandmother, but my focus is on the Black American experience. So with that said: we begin by divvying up any recognizable Black community into, 10 square blocks. We can either give it a numerical designation or a proper name. Collect the names of willing participating Grandmothers from the ages 55 through 75 and use any of a varied existing lottery means of selecting 5 names and they will for (whatever cycle the community agrees upon) make the necessary and practical assessment of proposals for project funds by individuals from that specific 10 square block. The metrics for assessment will, again be determined by ALL of the participating Grandmothers, in other words, after collecting the names of willing Grandmothers within the age range, they will assemble in whatever manner of their choosing and decide upon all rules and provisions that will constitute and enable their work. The objective is how to make accessible funds for entrepreneurship within the community. What I suggest is donations from all willing community members of each 10 square block. In other words the average Church or house of worship doesn't have any issue with exacting "tithes", from congregants, while turning a blind and apathetic eye to the systemic terms of existence of their congregants. Yes, some Churches based on their biases and presumptions provide certain services for communities. But the human business of existence cannot become cogent on biases and presumptions. Black People are taxed as all other Americans to all sorts of varying degrees. Yes, the systemic terms that have defined our American experience notwithstanding its dysfunctional narrative also brings along with it all sorts of potential. Our work is to okay, we see its nature in itself, now we change it. So, for example if we allow that contempt from the familiarity with the dysfunction we see in each other to assume absolute facts at the expense of how we also recognize that which is extraordinary in our being and stuff we do, then naturally we will simply be on that treadwheel of "self-fulfilling prophecy", with that fat faced tithe grasper doing the prophetic indictment. IN STRENGTH PEOPLE.

WE NEED TO STOP ABSOLVING THE HORRIFIC HARM THAT HAS BEEN METED OUT TO NON EUROPEAN PEOPLE: EUROPEANS WHO PERPETRATED HORRIFIC HARMS ON NON EUROPEANS ARE NO MORE DEMONS THAN THEIR VICTIMS ARE ANGELS, BUT THE HORRORS MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED By William Thorpe

I was prompted to say this after listening to an NPR interview on 6/2/2026, where the interviewed author is selling a book and one of the characters is a 9 year old girl told by her car wreck injured step-dad, that for purposes of seeking help, there are good people who will help, which is contrary to the stranger danger caution she's been raised on. So the NPR interviewer, Mary Louise Kelly asked the writer if she was raised with the same stranger danger caution, to which she replied not really because the Catholic Nuns who tutored her for 12 years instilled in her of the goodness of people or humanity. This is what caused me to write this. The question isn't whether people and humanity are good, of course we are or we'd have exterminated ourselves. The issue however is harm has been done on the face of the Earth. Horrific, cataclysmic and annihilative harm has been witnessed on human beings and the Catholic Church is no innocent bystander, but has been a grand architect. Catholic Nuns have visited extraordinary harm on girls entrusted to them some voluntarily others not. What I'd have expected the being interviewed author to have displayed, is for once have the damn presence of mind to, yes speak of your specific and particular experience, while qualifying it with the recognition, that Nuns, yes Catholic Nuns have also participated in and exacted extreme and unconscionable horrors on the human condition, because without acknowledgement qualifiers all that we are will always be clothed in hypocrisy. We just recently witnessed a Pope being challenged on Christian Doctrine by Political actors who had the temerity to "question", his Speech and its spectacle was only possible because as an Institution, the Church and not just Catholicism, but The Church and in extension all Religious Speech is incapable of asserting any "standing" on critique of anything. We see Buddhist in Myanmar doing what, pursuing the ultimate of possessiveness under their faith of dispossession. Or how about the Hindus in India and their dabble with Nationalism, as if its Hindu character will reach a unique place unlike all other forays into Nationalism. Or the various Islamic Impositions. Who can ignore the current Zionist Speech and its bastardized "White-Evangelical" antics aptly captured by, If I'm to quote Bob Marley in his song Midnight Ravers," their mind is filled with confusion".When we talk about the inability to recognize harms to non-Europeans, Tony Perkins had one of the typical hypocritical "White Evangelicals" on his show and the topic was about the mutilation of kids under the transgender logic and as horrific as that entire phenomena is for the Parents in particular. The hypocrite couldn't help himself and he had to say this and I paraphrase that when historians record Americas history, this transgender issue will be the darkest stain on the Nation. And I'm like say what? This is coming from a White-Evangelical, one who claims to adhere to Christ teachings and the darkest stain on America is transgenderism? So what happened to the 400 years of chattel enslavement of Black People and the dehumanization of Jim Crow segregation and the continuing labor of the "White-Evangelical" to deny its systemic impact on all that is the Black American experience? That's not a dark stain? The hundreds of thousands who died, some to continue the practice of slavery, the righteous who died in its opposition. Not to even get all into the descendants of the released from slavery, still subjected to the life stunting effects of Racism and transgenderism is the blight?

IF ONE OF THE MOST BACKWARDS PEOPLE ON THE PLANET, THE CHINESE, PRE THE COMMUNIST PARTY COULD CUT THROUGH THE MORASS AND WE ARE GOING APE SH**T OVER HOW TO HANDLE THE BEEN THERE, SEEN THAT SILLINESS OF TRUMP, MAGA AND REPUBLICANS? By William Thorpe

No one more Chinese than Mao Tse Tung himself, (and I use the original spelling),who later on became the General-Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party critiqued and criticized his own Countrymen for the backwardness of their Imperial-Confucianism and the drag it had on the necessary development in light of their subservient position to the invading aggression of Western Europeans along with Imperial Japan. Not unlike the invasions of the Mongol Khans, Genghis ,to be specific who,  notwithstanding the fact conquered China became Chinese. But what the China of Mao's critique and criticism was confronted with was that "johnny come lately" tendency of, specifically Western Europeans to "other" by reducing other Humans to sub status. The diametrical altering of socio perceptions of a conquered or even just a mere encounter with other Humans, wasn't only limited to The Western European psyche, but was a human conditional natural corollary of the dynamic of conquest. But just as with the economic practice of enslavement, which was a regular occurrence in human affairs, the Western European psyche, specifically the English practicing it, in what became the United States put their own particular brand of perversion and dementedness on it by introducing, the "chattel", cradle to the grave speech on it. Or another example, humanity has always slaughtered itself on scale, but it took another Western European perversion and dementedness to apply the logic of bureaucracy, (which by the way, Imperial China introduced to the human condition) to and accomplish slaughter of humans as administrative function, which we know as the Holocaust. Now did kidnapped Africans, shackled on transport ships within the process of enslavement in these Americas and the subsequent dehumanization of chattelization die ten times more and over the Holocaust deaths, yes, its an indisputable yes. But those 20--100 million Africans who died during the transit and processing from Africa to destinations at plantations in what became the United States, the Caribbean colonies, Mexico, Central and South America, despite the experience being exponentially more horrific than the minutes it took for Zyklon-B to chronicle the Holocaust, were not as objective of the ad hoc administration of enslavement, being specifically and immediately processed for slaughter. Which underscores how our human condition is the very embodiment of the approximate as absolute value of context, as contradictory as it sounds, but if we are to find worship its in context. Within context we encounter the systemic and resolution not giving a flip to either state. Because and this brings me to the focus of this work. Which is this wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth, with the woe is me retrieval of the sack cloth as that proverbial next step, response to the inarguable, undebatable and indefensibly regressive state, 250 years of incorrigibility and its unwillingness to for example unconditionally not only reject but repudiate the perversion and dementedness encapsulated by William H. Holcombe in his sado-orgiastic, AFRICANIZATION OF THE SOUTH work. The human condition is a funny phenomenon, because even as Thomas Jefferson in his articulation of the Nations Declaration of Independence to the King George who is about to tango with a context he might have taken for granted, was as all it's other forms, was invoking, "let facts be submitted to a candid world", which as radically astute as Jefferson knew "a candid world" was more than dank European Castles. 

So much earlier in Chinese history, approximately the 6th Century and its inexorable date with the Maoist, backwardness criticism, we meet, LAO TSE or TZE and his work, TAO TEH KING, which not only anticipated but is kindred with the TRUMP, MAGA, REPUBLICANS and their PROJECT 2025 silliness, stated in expressions found in PART I chapter or verse 3.1 NOT TO VALUE AND EMPLOY MEN OF SUPERIOR ABILITY IS THE WAY TO KEEP THE PEOPLE FROM RIVALRY AMONG THEMSELVES...... [then at] 3.2 THEREFORE THE SAGE, IN THE EXERCISE OF HIS GOVERNMENT, EMPTIES THEIR MINDS, FILLS THEIR BELLIES, WEAKENS THEIR WILLS, AND STRENGTHENS THEIR BONES.[at] 3.HE CONSTANTLY (TRIES TO) KEEP THEM WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE AND WITHOUT DESIRE, AND WHERE THERE ARE THOSE WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE, TO KEEP THEM FROM PRESUMING TO ACT (ON IT) WHEN THERE IS THE ABSTINENCE FROM ACTION, GOOD ORDER IS UNIVERSAL. [and in PART II he continues at] 65.THE ANCIENTS WHO SHOWED THEIR SKILL IN PRACTISING THE TAO DID SO, NOT TO ENLIGHTEN THE PEOPLE BUT RATHER TO MAKE THEM SIMPLE AND IGNORANT. [at] 65.2 THE DIFFICULTY IN GOVERNING THE PEOPLE ARISE FROM THEIR HAVING MUCH KNOWLEDGE. HE WHO (TRIES) TO GOVERN A STATE BY HIS WISDOM IS A SCOURGE TO IT WHILE HE WHO DOES NOT (TRY TO) DO SO IS A BLESSING.I Begin: there isn't any need for me to elaborate or expound on LAO TSE or TZE' stipulations, a number of American demographics have forever existed with and under its dictates and its just that under TRUMP II, 90% of the Nations demographics are yoked to its application. My point with contrasting the Chinese experience with our current state is simply this. For starters nothing is new, not within the American context or our Global Human Condition, what however confronts us, is it's response. Even as Franklin Roosevelt was implementing THE NEW DEAL, a majority of Black Americans were excluded and the animating logic of the exclusion is what TRUMP II, MAGA and REPUBLICANS are yoking everyone else to even including their useful idiot supporters under PROJECT 2025.There are a fraction of the population for whom, buyers remorse is a positive motive, in other words they are capable of looking at themselves in the mirror and accepting that TRUMP lied to and deceived them. Then there are that majority who Jefferson in the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, identified as, "all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed."What this brings me to is that typical historical declarative of,(and I paraphrase) the World has been explained, the work is to change it. What Lao Tse and Thomas Jefferson have in common are observations minus the ingenuity of available response, which in 2026 not only Americans possess, but the entirety of human condition, because what the socio-person in Lao Tse and Thomas Jefferson's milieu didn't readily have was the ability to expose lies and hypocrisies. So for example Martin Luther was able to nail his polemic against Catholicism on doors and despite unleashing Protestantism we have experienced enough of the Protestant Speech to recognize what THE WHO gave us in the seminal song, "WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN", and the lyric "HERE COMES THE NEW BOSS SAME AS THE OLD BOSS", that Martin Luther's anti-Catholic exposé was a mere repackaging. Accordingly if the ethno-Nationalistic fetish convulsing the " White-Evangelical" MAGA foot soldier, lays claim to a suppositionary view of  "a"  Bible, and its plainly and dispositvely provable as hypocritical which Lao Tse would find affinity with than the seeming "White-Evangelical", invocation of a Jesus Christ that bears no resemblance or has nothing in common with the Biblical Jesus Christ, the human condition in 2026,can grasp for itself, without apotheosistic PAULIAN "intercession".

First of all its irrefutable that the overriding and arching motivator of the Trump, MAGA and Republican BASE supporter has nothing to do with the circumstances and conditions of their material existence and instead its all about that pathological condition, which President Lyndon Johnson keenly and astutely captured, when he said this, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you", which to qualify is the sum of all things America. Of course there have been moments where the nature of material developments have compelled that necessary recognition that humanness is more than skin. Virginia's Bacon's Rebellion was one, the killing at Boston of Crispus Attucks by British Soldiers in 1770, which was seized upon by American minds theorizing rebellion against The British Monarch, the likes of Paul Revere and Samuel Adams deployed the killing as weapon, was another. Even when the Speech focusing on the Black American experience was animus as the infamous Dred Scott formulation or Plessy v. Ferguson and even as recently, Students for Fair Admissions and Louisiana v. Callais, both resurrecting the animus of William H. Holcombe in his Africanization of the South, what we find within the pathology is the shortsightedness of self negation revealed as that most base and idiotic of the human attention by the adherents. This isn't to deny its destructiveness, but what it does is compel attention in opposition. In other words if the purpose and objective of the human brain and mind is to "think", which then is "value". Then that generated attention in opposition, as value, then is no different from Mao Tse Tung's backwardness criticism of the Chinese People pre-Communist Party. Hilary Clinton attempted such criticism with her and I paraphrase, the degeneracy of the Trump voter. To which she was harshly castigated, whether it factored in on her electoral defeat to Trump is irrelevant, because if it is accepted and understood that, we are a Nation of Laws and not men. Then contrary to the distortive, distractive, deceptive and diversionary political campaigning narrative that the focus is on the personalities of the Politicians, which is nothing but a bill of stale goods. Politics as Speech of the Social Contract, its aspirations and formulations is instead comprehensively about Clarity, detailed as needs and issues of the Human or socio-person's business of existence to be solved and resolved and whether one is "tough tony" or "Black Mary", is irrelevant. What is relevant is how comprehensive and extensive is the potential legislator or Policy maker's grasp of the electorate's needs, to present and subsequently defend them. But when the political speech is mired in the irrelevance of personality and the infernal accoutrements of gimmicks, then it behooves that labor of "attention" and the rigors of ingenuity to present that necessary and comparable opposition. So who is held responsible for allowing and permitting the brazen misrepresentation of the various subject matters that are deployed as weapons by reaction against that inexorable push by the progressive business of human existence? Do we simply acquiesce to the assertion, "and God said" or restrain challenge of presumed allocution by Paul aka Saul as in the protested "intercession" for Jesus Christ and Man? Or do we respond on their own terms?
