There is a relative Republican-Conservatism consensus that Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize lecture was some sort of "Liberal" epiphany. There was even the quintessential archetype for crass illiteracy and philistinism, Sarah Palin chiming in that her book "Going Rogue" she speaks about the fallen nature of man.
One has to really wonder what exactly is going on with the collective intellect of some of our fellow humans?
Barack Obama in the process of receiving the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize expounds on the commonsensical pedestrian notion of "What is a Just a War" and the idealistic fancy of "What is Evil" and it enables reactionaries of all stripes to claim vindication as if the simplistic reality of common defense is also War mongering by another name.
Republican-Conservatism in it's perpetual juvenile glee as it pursues it's I told you so, philosophical exploitation of human shortcomings. Has lost sight and track of what is War and the common defense. This raises this crucial point, save for the Republican Party under Lincoln's leadership, Republicans practically have been all bluster on common defense.
Barack Obama as if in response to Tolstoyian Pacifism strode on the stage of contradictions, of which the endowment of the prize itself is borne on the industry of War and it's incendiary elements and spoke of a just War and Sarah Palin heard Wagner.
