Every day, every other day books are being published critical of Government, politics, politicians. Left this, Right that. Liberal and Conservative hurled epithets. Blue State, Red State labeling as if the Dogs of War eat biscuits and curl in front of fire places.
Faces on cable, voices on talk radio play the vilification of Congress game.
Why isn't the vilification directed at the rightful recipients the voters who keep on keeping on voting like lines of clueless prey shown with purple fingers as if the wag of purple fingers excuses the absence of weapons of mass destruction, as if simply casting a ballot is panacea directed by the World Bank and International Monetary Fund or better yet Civic Duty 101, explaining away lack of accountability for the Sub Prime Rate trough gluttony, as if politicians are a breed apart and are not simply reflective of the electorates naivete and who is to blame for the electorates naivete?
Who is to blame for Ms. South Carolina 2007 Illiteracy?
And being that we are all compatriots in the blame game, so who does Apropos blame for time spent on this post?

The Savagery of Charlotte Jones
A few weeks ago, away from the glare of accountability, as most issues of State and Government are lately, Brian Sterner a quadriplegic bound to his
wheelchair had the misfortune of experiencing first hand what all the tax payers of Hillsboro, Florida are getting for their tax receipts.
When Charlotte Jones a Deputy with the Hillsboro Police Dept. savagely dumped Sterner on the floor of the Police station, after Sterner had been brought there for a traffic violation.
Hillsboro Sheriff, Joe Docobo had the gall to characterize this instance of State Brutality with, Jones the officer in question lacked proper training.
But the fact is lack of training is not the issue.
A Police officer savagely dumped a human being in a wheelchair on the floor without any regard for the persons well being. The Police Dept. characterized the savage act as that of lack of training. But what sort of training does any human need to know not to inflict wanton pain and discomfort on another?

The New England Patriots and the 2008 Super Bowl Commercials, What a farce
Super Bowl commercials. Super sub par commercials. The Bud Bowl creations back in the day were worth talking about. There have been moments in Super Bowl commercials also worth speaking on, but what was that the tired ass brains of the third wave gave us for the '08?
Nonetheless what a game it was, New England finally getting their come uppance! Eli Manning for once not allowing his weak chin to get in the way as the New York Giants punished New England and the delusional arrogance of Tom Brady.
It wasn't all that bleak though. The Life Water commercial, lizards moon-walking to Micheal Jackson's Thriller is worth talking about. Garmin's GPS, help for the Petit Corporal to find his way out of perverting the 1789 Revolution was also worth a nod. The gurgling big head E-Trade baby can stay gurgling and Justin Timberlake please! If getting your balls squashed on a pole is what Pepsi could come up with, you should have simply spoofed your role in Janet's wardrobe malfunction.
As an end note---Hyundai with it's Genesis asked we think about it. How about here is a cold dash of reality. Hyundai? Forget about it.
Lizards doing Thriller? Now that's worth a Sequined Glove.

911 Calls made public, A ghoulish practice
The Habit of releasing 911 calls for commercial purposes is ghoulish and must be ridiculed and opposed.
There comes a period after certain high profile and well publicized incidents, media outlets, disingenuously foist on the public the 911 calls of the incidents.
Talk about insensitivity.
What is being accomplished besides the base nature of gawking?
Media outlets in that perpetual quest for the bottom line, profit margins as measure of responsibility have incorporated the practice of playing 911 calls under the pretext it's news, when instead it's crass voyeurism.
This practice is an outgrowth of that of releasing plane cock-pit recordings of crashes. There is a difference however, cockpit recordings of plane crashes speak more of the mechanics of the accident. It allows the public and relative investigators to understand what was wrong in a way the intimacy and individual of a 911 call is least concerned with.

Islamic Militancy and the Neo-Cons
As we listen to the Bush Administration and it's apologist intellectuals hold their symposiums on the various talk shows about Iraq and America in the period of a certain type of Islamic Militancy.
One wonders which reality is being analyzed?
What sort of reality begs for the spectacle of the hard sell that National Security is in jeopardy if whatever the articulated threat is actually warrants the perfidy of Neo-Conservatism's gambits which the nation has been subjected to.

Toni Morrison, The Black Presidency and Bill Clinton
What does Toni Morrison's endorsement of Barack Obama say? She who pronounced the purported surrogate as original. For one, what it obviously does is pull the rug for whatever it was worth to blow a saxophone on the now dust to heap of talk show history, Arsenio Hall Show from under Bill Clinton's ozarkism a la' Ronald Reagan State Rights ravings in the heart of Jim Crow Mississippi wink and a nod First Black President paternalism.
What Toni Morrison giveth, Tony Morrison taketh.

The Noose , Golfweek and the Cold War of American Racism
The latest casualty of the Cold War of American Racism is now Golfweek Magazine.
Golfweek magazine in a spasm of cosmic stupidity, hung a noose on the cover of it's recent issue, this came on the heels of a Golf commentator suggesting that a viable way to stop Golfs protagonist Tiger Woods was to lynch him.
Besides the ancillary verbiage this instance of bigotry has wrought, the most comfortable, which main stream hypocrisy has settled on, is , the actions of Golfweek has presented a medium for a national discussion on lynchings, nooses, and racism.
Now this proposal ridiculously expects the Black condition to be just as ditsy as the commentator whose words thrust and shoved Golfweek on to a shelf besides all the other Gone With The Wind and Bell Curve works of the colossal idealism that is Racism in all it's excuses.
Discussion? A national discussion on lynching? Now if this isn't the recourse of minds steeped in extreme fear, the terror of what the victims of American Bigotry have as the legitimate natural justifiable right to, then what sort of adding insult to injury is the supposedly well thought response by serious minds that the response to bigotry is a discussion?
