The 5/20/10; Spectacle at an Iranian Hotel Lobby, Organized Violence, Espionage and Humanitarian Gesture Naivete

On 5/20/10; The world woke up to the  spectacle of three American mothers, Norah Shourd, Laura Fattal and Cindy Hickey having physical contact at an Iranian hotel lobby with their children, Sara Shourd, Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal who are imprisoned by Iranian organized violence under the guise of espionage.

There is this recurring naivete consistently displayed by enemies of the United States, particularly it's Third World enemies as Iran.

Does anyone in their right mind believe or dare imagine the United States and it's organized violence permitting relatives of it's detained and imprisoned suspects of espionage physical contact visits and a press conference as the Islamic Republic of Iran permitted it's detained Americans with their mothers?

Iran's thinking and calculation is by allowing such a visit as a humanitarian gesture it shows the world a face that is at odds with it's antagonistic international.  But the problem with this calculation and it's phenomena by Iran, it's past practitioners, Libya, Saddam Hussein's Iraq, North Korea and all those Third World nations who naively pursue it, is: It never accomplishes the intent of polishing their image nor mitigating the antagonisms.  Instead it only reinforces the prejudices against them while undermining their sovereign motive imperative.  A quick example of this is if Iran felt that seriously about it's espionage charges against Sarah Shourd, Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal why would Iran undercut it's severity by permitting the spectacle of 5/20/10; at an Iranian hotel lobby.
