Our national pastime is not Baseball it's rather schizophrenia. The British Petroleum, BP Gulf Oil Crisis is once again reminding us of this.
Barack Obama and the Democratic controlled congress were maligned, pilloried and indicted by insidious Republican-Conservatism and the Political-Economy challenged because of the various corporate bail outs taken during the Presidency's beginnings. The argument was Barack Obama was Big Bad Government gobbling up private enterprise thus interfering in the fictitious free-market imperative!
Then came really Big Bad British Petroleum, BP and mile deep arrogance and incompetence in the Gulf of Mexico---The BP Gulf Oil Crisis. Now what do we hear cries, wails, gnashing of teeth, chest beatings for Big Bad Government to intercede with it's "socialistic", evil spending ways to clean up the mess.
My point is: Wasn't cleaning up the mess the point with Barack Obama's various corporate bail outs?
