NBC's The Today Show, Black-American Culture and Bias Within the Editorial-Perogatives of Corporate Media

Avid and regular viewers of NBC's popular morning program, The Today Show, will have to at a certain point ask: Where is the reflection of Black-American culture, it's content in The Today Show's programming.

The Today Show has stacked a viable portion of it's programming on it's idea of the empathy, sympathy dynamic of people's lives and the Human Condition.  So there is the obligatory sob story of a family's loss, it's grief and anguish which 99.9% of the time is White-American oriented, reflective of The Today Show's bias.

So what are the implications and insinuations?  That Black-American families are incapable of experiencing loss, grief, anguish and are unworthy of the empathy and sympathy dynamic threaded within the national cultural narrative.

there is an aspect of bias within the editorial-perogatives of the nations corporate media shown by NBC's Today Show that has nothing to do with it's equal opportunity and affirmative employment practices.  But is insidious in it's omission of portraying Black-American culture in prosaic, generic and mundane settings which intellectually lend it's bias familiarity.
