The question of the nations Public Schools, K-12 Intermediary education is a social problem primarily because of desegregation and the consequence of busing. If Public Schools are a conundrum, it became a contextual problem within the reactionary motive of segregationist hold-outs, elitist Fancy's and sympathizers who "Gone With the Wind" and "Birth of a Nation" are their moral denominator.
If Public Schools at the intermediary level are failing, which in most cases they are. It has nothing to do with the Idea of Public Schooling, but the debate incredulously approaches the question as if it is.
From the Home Schooling Charter schools and voucher gambits as solution. The noise in the education debate has always tended to pillory the idea and practice of Public Schooling at the intermediary level, which as polemics did not exist prior to desegregation and busing.
The question of the nations Public Schools Intermediary education has now matured to this comedy of horrors spectacle that the notion, there is Conservative and Liberal education is articulated as if it is worthy of rigorous synthesis.

Deficit Spending is Deficit Spending Irrelevant of Purpose
If the purported effects of Deficit Spending are an economical bane as we are constantly reminded by those who ridiculously equate Grandma's money under her mattress or the Barney Fife-like family budget with macro-scale Political-Economy of nations.
If such effects are independent of purpose, meaning Deficit Spending is Deficit Spending irrelevant of purpose and massive amounts of Deficit Spending are accepted for Wars and the Industrial-Military complex. Then massive amounts of Deficit Spending should also be accepted for a War on Poverty and a War on Unemployment.

Corporate Media and Islamic Radical Nihilism
There is this unexplored dynamic of Islamic radical nihilism by Corporate Media of the War on Terror circumstance. Why is the terror imperative and it's Islamic radical opportunistic nihilism application utterly impotent in North Africa, and the Middle East? Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria,Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Sudan, Chad Niger and Nigeria have clearly kept Islamic radicalism at bay.
Every Islamic national status quo worthy of it's dictatorship has kept Islamic radical nihilism at bay. So why is the United States singularly and it's dictatorship of Speculative Value behaving as it Islamic radicalism is the second coming of the Third Reich efficiency and innovative supremacy, requiring revisionist styled Colonial campaigns, down to the Khaki Dun affection of empire, the "White Mans Burden" and it's fancy?
Comically and complicity Corporate Media has been abjectedly silent on this fact.

The Politics of Asterisk and Steroids in Sports
So the Saint Louis Cardinals Home Run meister Mark McGwire, a poster child for the politics of asterisk in sports but on the other hand purportedly representing the innocence and innocence lost of the heartland and it's Gothic. Has flagellated himself before the nation and hubris of the likes of USA Today's Christine Brennan, the self-assumed gate keeper of ethics and morality in sports with the confessional spectacle, that he partook of sports forbidden fruits, steroids and human growth hormone.
The question of performance enhancement which is the pedestrian criticism against steroids and it's class of chemistry. Fits perfectly with that least and base level of intellectual activity, where we find likes of War on Drugs, War on Poverty, War on Crimes and mother of all, War on Terrorism. With the fact, the performance enhancement charge and criticism which apoplectically is only reserved for steroids and it's critical convenience on the socio-periodic table of selective criticism is at home with a sort of revisionary resentment and jealousy, where responses and reactions have nothing to do with the original agitating cause.
The steroid question is firstly and purely a political one. A relic of the Cold War Era. When the U.S. in the flailing throes of defeat after another at the hands of the Warsaw Pact and it's superior chemist who knew how to transform East German Frauleins into superbeings worthy of Third Reich Lore, decried it's use. But whatever the motive-merits of it's proscription, the critique performance enhancement has lapsed into an absurd quixotic comedy.
Can there be competition when it's qualification isn't similarities but dissimilarities, which is what the steroid debate ask of us. For example if it is proven that biologically, Usain Bolt, Lance Armstrong to name a few are physiological freaks shouldn't their accomplishments succumb to the politics of asterisk? Why not, they are biologically unfairly advanced, yet we laud their triumphs.
The question is would the original Greek Olympic athlete and those historical Warrior-Athletes of humanities diverse tribes and nations had found affinity with whatever performance enhancement edge chemistry, steroids provided?

Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize and Sarah Palin Heard Wagner
There is a relative Republican-Conservatism consensus that Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize lecture was some sort of "Liberal" epiphany. There was even the quintessential archetype for crass illiteracy and philistinism, Sarah Palin chiming in that her book "Going Rogue" she speaks about the fallen nature of man.
One has to really wonder what exactly is going on with the collective intellect of some of our fellow humans?
Barack Obama in the process of receiving the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize expounds on the commonsensical pedestrian notion of "What is a Just a War" and the idealistic fancy of "What is Evil" and it enables reactionaries of all stripes to claim vindication as if the simplistic reality of common defense is also War mongering by another name.
Republican-Conservatism in it's perpetual juvenile glee as it pursues it's I told you so, philosophical exploitation of human shortcomings. Has lost sight and track of what is War and the common defense. This raises this crucial point, save for the Republican Party under Lincoln's leadership, Republicans practically have been all bluster on common defense.
Barack Obama as if in response to Tolstoyian Pacifism strode on the stage of contradictions, of which the endowment of the prize itself is borne on the industry of War and it's incendiary elements and spoke of a just War and Sarah Palin heard Wagner.

Black Teens, Imagination, The City of Detroit and Not an Impotent Degree from Spelmans and Morehouse
To the Black community: Where are Black teens on innovation and entrepreneurship? Where is the major monetization of trends, habits and facts of Black Urban Culture? Instead of the stale and practical-irrelevancy of go to college and stop the violence idealistic impotence, Black teens should be urged to find creative and ingenious manners of capitalizing on ideas which in turn becomes the lattice jump off for Black economic infrastructural development.
The City of Detroit is a text book case. Detroit since the 1970's has been for all practical purposes a Black city, with it's abundance of Black teens. It is an outrage that Black economic dynamism is hubbled, shackled to the "I Have a Dream", the McDonald's Black History month Big Mac pitch celebration, "I Am Somebody" template which Detroit is its eye-sore.
The constant criminalization of Black teens manners of expression whether by well intended or insidious craftiness is a canker that must be exorcised. Black teen expressions should be allowed as all other cultures do their youth, with margins for failure and triumph. Black teens should be tasked with developing their imagination and enabled to imagine and the forgiven environment of support when such is at odds.
The objective environment, notwithstanding it's many contradictions and antagonisms should not only become an experience of sanction to the Black teen. But it is dynamic, creative life, the world and the first and foremost tool required and necessary to lay claim is imagination and not impotent degree from Spelman and Morehouse.

Von Clausewitz, War on Terror, Israel as Model and the Cynicism of the Premise
Notwithstanding the Clausewitzian axiom of War being politics expressed, as outlines by the Prussian military theoretician Von Clausewitz. The calculus practiced during the Bush Administration and continued by the Obama Administration in it's War on Terror interaction with Al Qaeda, the Taliban and a certain contextual Jihadist perspective, Stands and turns politics on it's head.
Nothing will be gained, nothing is to be gained. Supporters of this adventurism have cynically suggested that Iraq will be the Israel of the Arab and Islamic world. Which only goes to show how naive and blinded they are by the suppositions of the Neo-Conservative narrative.
Israel shouldn't be anybody's model. A nation consistently hounded by the footsteps of the Grim Reaper and undertakers is no ones model and it's premise has nothing to do with the affirmation of life. A country in the business of building walls erecting barriers while life affirmation requires the destruction of barriers Highlighted as a model only reveals the cynicism of the premise.

"Broken Government", Walmart Supremacy and the Demise of The Nations Labor Unions
Contrary to the "Broken Government" hysteria being whipped up by number of sources in pursuit of their own interest, the U.S. government is not broken.
Do I have to list all the functioning practical aspects of government? From the Department of Defense, it's prosecution of multi-dimensional War, the requisite logistical wizardry and it's symbiotic nurture of the Industrial-Military complex to the guaranteed entitlements of Social-Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the various industrial and agricultural welfare programs.
The situation in Washington and across state governments has nothing to do with the hysterical and hyperbolic construct "Broken Government". But it has everything to do with philosophical differences between the nations major political tendencies, specifically Democratic-Progressive and Republican-Conservatism and the parasitic pursuit of speculative power within the opportunity of government as medium.
But it goes a bit deeper than squabbles of political and historical revisions. The seeming philosophical differences speaks more of a type of naivete and illiteracy which in itself is a result and function of the nations industrial transformation while neglecting to transform the interacting Political-Economic nexus of Value Speculation and it's production. To understand the nations political activity look no further than the Walmart Supremacy and the demise of the nations Labor Unions.

Republican-Conservatism, Virginia's Bob McDonnell's $700 Million Education Budget Cut and Yes Your Kids are Expendable
Besides all the sorts of "I told you so" I can and should smirkingly deliver to the Virginian idiots who like Sisyphus never seem to understand that the Republican-conservative brand and it's idea of Human Political-Economy is status quoism and this 2009 November past voted for the sprayed, stiffened hair of Bob McDonnell, the tax cuts and less government gambit of Republican-Conservatism.
Stop whining that the glossy faced, spray stiffened hair of the Republican Bob McDonnell who you Lemming-like voted for is doing exactly what his reactionary, Republican-ideology demands and requires of him.
Yes Bob McDonnell is cutting $700 million from public education because your kids are expendable in the Republican-Conservative model of Political-Economy and it's practice.
Yes Bob McDonnell is instead allocating fund to reopen highway rest areas. so your uneducated and functionally illiterate kids because of Bob McDonnell's budget cuts, will now waylay and as highway desperado's commit all sorts of felonious activities on unsuspecting tourist and rest area users. Which will then in turn affirm that other theology of Republican-Conservatism, law and order. When your shellacked and stupefied kids are imprisoned and pogromized in the Old Dominion's gulag of concertina razor and electrified fences.
You love the siren-like woo of tax cuts and less government. So live with the reality that to Republican-Conservatism, if government is off, for and by the people then the less government logic and it's consequence is always pointedly clear. Less government simply means less People. Less people with a stake, an interest, less people to compete with, less people needing the basic tools to function stabily in that Reaganesque mocked and tarnished "shining city on a hill". So is it then difficult to understand and inconceivable to see why the Republican-Conservative Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell would and will propose and suggest slashing $700 million from the education budget?
Your kids in his eyes are expendable. Less of them are necessary to realize the status quoistic objectives of Republican-Conservatism status quoism. So Virginia's fifth column of idiots who at every turn and march of progress can be counted upon to undermine it. Voted for the Republican Bob McDonnell in the November 2009 gubernatorial elections so their dimwitted elitist aspirations will at it's expense bespeak of the Adamic Curse: From the Sweat of Thy Brow.
