Wolf Blitzer, Finance Capital, The Cockroach and American Political-Economy

During a 9/16/08; at 4:16 pm Wolf Blitzer in the Situation Room interview with Governor David Paterson of New York, on the consequence of finance-capital and Republican corruption as shown by the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers and the instability of A.I.G a cockroach scurried across the monitor-prop of the Situation Room.

The question is when a cockroach scurries across the Situation decor during a Wolf Blitzer interview on the collapse of American Political-Economy, symbolism isn't lost. The mythical cockroach and it's plague-like legend encapsulates the Apocalypse and it's political-economy default harbinger.

But there is another answer. Wolf Blitzer and CNN evidently feeling the economic squeeze are unable to afford the services of an exterminator and that effectively sums up finance-capital in American Political-Economy.
