Sarah Palin has not energized those who now express affinity for a John McCain Presidency. Instead Sarah Palin has simply been the excuse, the legitimizing justification for reaction and it's backwardness.
Evangelical Christianity and it's resentment expression requires misery and it's sham moral critique. In other words the Evangelical Christian expression needs the political gullibility medium to satisfy it's neurotic pinings and that is why Republicans have found success and it hasn't just been at the expense of Democratic hypocrisy.
