The Roman Catholic Church, Pedophilia, Homosexuality and William Donohue

Evangelical-Fundamentalist Christians, particularly those from the Southern United States, have consistently denounced the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican and the Pope.  Conspiracy Theorist find the Catholic Church a font for never ending global domination fears and it's role as the symbol of days in biblical revelation as the Whore of Babylon is legend.  So the charges of Pedophilia by Catholic Priest and claims of the ensuing cover up which now haunt the Papacy of Pope Benedict, formerly Cardinal Ratzinger does not come as a surprise.  Naturally as such tends to be the case the Catholic Church and the Vatican has found itself under that human conditional imperative of defending itself and not relying on it's deistic teachings to do so.  In other words Catholicism has rediscovered it's Adamic Profanity.

Then there is William Donahue, the Director of the Catholic League and sanctimonious defender of Catholic Political-Economy.  Who on the 3/30/10; Larry King on CNN pronounced that sexual molestation of post-pubescent kids is not Pedophilia but Homosexuality.  Then in his omniscience William Donohue proceeded to defend Catholicism, a faith based exercise which per virtue, is devoid of scientific, evidence-based examination, with the infamous and I paraphrase, I'm a Social Scientist show me the evidence.  In confessional booths across the Catholic empire priest accept confessions of sins without the cynicism of evidence based examination.  Yet when the accused is the pedophilic empire of Catholicism William Donohue mocks both the faith based imperative of his Catholic Church and the intelligence of all those Catholics who historically devoid of reason have spilled their guts to child molesters in frocks!
