There is this theme. This recurring theme that keeps coming up in our National discussion and Political-Economy environment. It can be summed up at best as Intellectual-Liberalism at worst illiteracy and ignorance.
Mara Liasson is it's latest example. On the 4/26/09; Chris Wallace on FOX Show, Mara Liasson of National Public Radio declared. Barack Obama's policy agenda of long term infrastructure development in education, health-care and energy as being Conservative ideas, as if the Conservative tag is a imprimatur of approval.
The problem with her declaration and it's fetid-stench of ignorance is this: since when is affirmative and pro-active long term pursuits in education, health-care and energy policy Conservative monopolies?
Despite the Partisan undertone critique of Mara Liasson's declaration and it's irrelevancy. It is extremely impossible to ignore the fetid-stench of it's rank ignorance.
It is crass Intellectual-Liberalism and it's consequence is mediocrity and bigotry. It ignores the objectivity of progress and spews as substitution less government, less taxes, state rights as if it's mantra is somehow realized in the Intellectual-Liberalism of it's hypocrisy.
