A disservice done by corporate media to the nations Political-Economy is with the way it flames national issues and points of discussion.
How often are we told by corporate media journalist as Soledad O'Brien, John King, Gloria Borger et al that there is tension between a Presidents agenda, what a President wants, Presidential legacy and what the party wants or what Congress wants. This descriptive characterized tension of a Presidents agenda, legacy and what the party Congress wants is a disservice done by corporate media because it is wrong and intentionally misleading.
A Presidents agenda, legacy, a party's platform, what it wants, what Congress wants are reflective of what people, the citizenry want and that is how corporate media journalist as Soledad O'Brien, John King, Gloria Borger et al should describe such Political-Economy activity. On the contrary what we are told which borders on indoctrination is this false tension between a Presidents agenda, Presidential legacy and what Congress wants.
An aspect of corporate media's historical duty is to illustrate the unity between what citizens vote for and what is accomplished by the political functionaries. Instead, what Soledad O'Brien, John King, Gloria Borger et al assault our senses with are intentionally misleading commentary that are a disservice to the nations Political-Economy.
